Providing food, support & advice to homeless people & those in need in a safe, welcoming environment in Hastings.

Find out more

Hope Kitchen is a soup kitchen in the centre of Hastings.

Hope Kitchen is open from 7.30pm to 8.30 pm on Thursday evenings via the main entrance of Wellington Square Baptist Church, Wellington Square.

We welcome anyone over 18 to have some soup and rolls, a hot drink and a chat. Our aim is to provide a warm, dry and safe place to have something to eat and drink but also to offer advice and support in a welcoming and friendly environment.  Since the pandemic hit we have unfortunately had to restrict our service to handing out soup, rolls and hot drinks from the church steps.  We continue to look for ways to reopen fully - hopefully in the not-too-distant future.
